Councillors seek meeting with Failte Ireland on Wild Atlantic Way



Councillors in Manorhamilton are to seek a meeting with Failte Ireland to push their case to have north Leitrim included in promotions for the Wild Atlantic Way.

They say only a few kilometres along the Leitrim coast at Tullaghan have been included; the rest of the county has been included in the Hidden Heartlands initiative.

But a report to councillors at yesterday’s Manorhamilton Municipal District meeting said Faile Ireland had no plans to make any changes.
