A free hazardous waste collection is taking place in Sligo today.
the event is being hosted by Sligo County Council and is taking place until 12.30pm today at Deep Water Quay, Sligo Town.
Rubbish build up around the county has being highlighted in the last number of months and this is a way of getting rid of items such as adhesives, aerosols, batteries and more.
People are advised that there is currently a large buildup of traffic in the area.
