Calls have been on the Chief Fire Officer in Co Donegal to resign from his position.
It’s after a recommendation from the Chief Fire Officer, Joseph McTaggart that Ballyshannon closes in a new report.
The report has proposed the amalgamation of Bundoran and Ballyshannon fire stations, with one new station based close to the roundabout at the East End of Bundoran.
Local Fine Gael Cllr Barry O’Neill says promises have been made regarding Ballyshannon fire station in the past, but they’ve been now broken…..
