Cleary centre in Donegal Town to get a new building

The Cleary Centre in Donegal Town, which supports those with intellectual disabilities, is set to get a new building.

Nearly two years ago, the Centre moved from the Clar Road to the new Victor building in Lurganboy. But locals have long campaigned for a new centre.

A meeting between the minister with respoonsibility for those with disabilities, Finian McGrath, a delegation from the Cleary Centre, HSE officials and constituency Dail deputies took place yesterday.

Donegal Deputy, Pat the Cope Gallagher says they are hopeful that the new centre will be shovel ready next year….
