Coola face Falcarragh in All-Ireland final today

Coola Post Primary School will contest an all-Ireland final today.

The Sligo school play Donegal’s PCC Falcarragh in the FAI Schools U15 Minor B Boys final at the all-weather pitch at IT Sligo, with kick-off at 12.30pm.

The game will be part of a double-header at the Ballinode college, with the U15 final between St Columba’s College from Stranorlar and St Joseph’s College from Galway following at 3pm.

Yesterday, Claregalway College beat Buncrana’s Scoil Mhuire 3-0 in the Minor Girls final in MacSharry Park.

In the EA Sports Cup last night, Dundalk advanced to the quarter-finals thanks to a penalty shootout defeat of St Patrick’s Athletic.

Former Sligo Rovers defender Michael Leahy scored three goals in the space of seven extra-time minutes in that game – two for his own team St Pat’s and one for opponents Dundalk.
