A leading consultant in Data Protection says the new laws being introduced in May to protect people’s information are timely.
Martin O Dwyer from Data Lex Consultancy, a Data Protection and privacy law firm based in Sligo is one of the guest speakers at a special conference on the new GDPR regulations today.
New stricter laws that could result in businesses being fined if they don’t take enough measures to protect employee and company information come into effect on the 25th of May.
