Gang break-in to Co Donegal filling station overnight



An investigation has been launched after a filling station in Co Donegal was broken into overnight.

 

Gardai have confirmed that thieves gained access to Sweeneys Filling Station in Termon through the roof, with money and a quantity of goods stolen.

 

The break-in is believed to be the eighth similar raid in the Northwest in recent weeks.

 

Donegal Crime Prevention Officer Sgt. Paul Wallace says these gangs are purposely targeting businesses in rural, isolated areas:
