Morgan strike sees Rovers earn a point in Dalymount

Adam Morgan scored his fourth goal in six games to earn Sligo Rovers a point away to Bohemians in Dalymount Park on Friday.

Morgan confidently volleyed home a superb leveler from inside the area as Rovers played out a 2-2 draw in Phibsboro.

Keith Long’s side twice took the lead in the game, but midfielder David Cawley claimed his first goal for the Bit O’ Red since his return to the club to cancel out an opener from Bohs’ Eoghan Stokes.

Ian Morris had the home side back in front on the hour-mark, but Morgan cancelled that goal out just two minutes later.

Rovers return to action in Dublin on Monday, when they face St Patrick’s Athletic in a re-arranged tie in Richmond Park at 3pm.
