Conan O’Donnell added to Connacht’s European squad

Sligo’s Conan O’Donnell has been added to the Connacht squad for the knockout stages of the European Challenge Cup.

The Ballydoogan native is one of three players added to the squad before the deadline closed today.

Clubs that have qualified for the knockout stages can nominate up to three players for registration to supplement their European squads.

Fellow Sligo-man Cillian Gallagher was also promoted to the European squad earlier in the season.

Both players signed their first senior contracts with the province last week.

Back Cormac Brennan and forward Andrew Browne were the other two players added to the Connacht squad for the remainder of the competition.
