Repair crews are working in counties Leitrim, Donegal and Sligo to repair disruptions to the water supply following the recent bad weather.
Irish Water says it will continue to monitor water demand across County Leitrim over the coming days following mechanical issues at the South Leitrim Water Treatment Plant in Carrick on Shannon.
Consumers are being asked to save water by turning off taps, both inside and outside, and to reduce the amount of water used
There has also been disruptions to the supply in the Riverside and Doorly Park areas of Sligo town.
This local resident told the North West Today Show they were without water since Saturday.
