A Sligo councillor is calling for a survey of all speed bumps in and around Sligo town.
Fine Gael Councillor Sinead Maguire says problems are arising because of different sizes and heights of speed bumps, resulting in motorists often not knowing what to expect.
She says that as well as possibly damaging vehicles, there are also other problems caused by different-sized speed bumps.
She says this is the reason she is putting down a motion on the issue for a meeting of the county council:
