Gardai warn businesses #StormEmma poses a prime opportunity for criminals



The Gardai are warning closed businesses to keep a close eye on security over the next two days as the weather poses an opportunity for criminals.

Many businesses in the North West are closing early today due to the adverse weather conditions.

While schools, colleges and all third level institutions remain closed until Monday.

Post offices are closed and many retailers too are closing to allow staff to get home early and safely.

But crime prevention officer in Donegal Paul Wallace is urging business owners to keep a close eye on security as the cold snap could be an opportunitity for criminals to strike:
