No commitment given over future of Donegal community hospitals



The government have given no committment on the future of three community hospitals in Co Donegal.

There has been uncertainty surrounding the future of services at Lifford, Ramelton and St Joseph’s Community Hospitals for the past couple of years.

The issue was raised in the Dail last night by Deputies Pearse Doherty and Pat the Cope Gallagher.

And they hit out at the Minister for Older People, Jim Daly, who didn’t attend the debate, because he was at actually at a meeting in Co Donegal……
