An E.G.M of Bunninadden Gaa club took place on Saturday night last Jan;20th; After a very successful and well attended meeting the following officers were elected;
President M J Scanlon;Vice Presidents W Brennan & J Gilloohley;Chairman D Killoran outgoing;Secretary K Henry; Assistant Secretary F Donovan; Joint Treasurers K Doohan & JP McGettrick;PRO P Spellman;Chairman of Bord na og B. Gilloohley;Child Protection Officer W. Gormley;
In his address the chairman thanked all outgoing officers,team managers and members for their efforts in 2017. He expressed a special thanks to our sponsors for their generosity throughout the year and had a special word of thanks for our supporters for their financial support and attendance at games. He congratulated R Brennan on his recent appointment as Co Board Development Officer and wished W Gormley well in his position a s manager of St Molaise Gaels.
He also paid tribute to those who had participated in county panels and development squads and extended condolences to those who had suffered bereavments .
Following some lively discussion on a number of topics it was agreed that a special appeal be made to parents to provide supervision in the playground and car park area during coaching times.
Gaelic Nursery program for U6 and U8 boys and girls will commence on Feb;7th; at 7pm in the Community Centre.All are welcome.
The club wishes to convey sincere sympathy to the Marren family on the death of Lucy and to the Durkan family on the death of John.
