Cook guides Wigan to FA Cup shock

Former Sligo Rovers boss Paul Cook guided Wigan to a famous FA Cup result last night.

The English League One leaders beat Premier League side Bournemouth by three goals to nil in their third round replay to book a home tie against West Ham in the next round.

Cook says they won’t get carried away with the result…

Elsewhere, Chelsea survived penalties and the sending off of two forwards to progress.

Both Pedro and Alvaro Morata were sent-off in extra-time, but Eden Hazard struck the winning penalty for a 5-3 victory on spot kicks.
And Swansea beat Championship leaders Wolves 2-1.
