Fears crime developing at derelict hotel in Leitrim quashed by Gardai



Gardai have dismissed claims that crime is being planned from the old Manor Abbey Hotel in Dromahair.

Leitrim Councillor Mary Bohan raised concerns about groups gathering at the derelict building before Christmas.

The Fianna Fail Councillor says businesses are concerned that they were being watched.

However, Superintendent in Leitrim Kevin English says Gardai have been actively monitoring the area and are confident that no suspicious activity is developing there.
