A Sligo TD is calling for the public to be consulted on changes to constituency boundaries.
Fianna Fail TD Marc MacSharry says the current Sligo Leitrim constituency is more like a european one as it takes in so many counties.
The most recent changes now mean that north Roscommon has been added to Sligo Leitrim along with south Donegal.
Meanwhile the Donegal constituency no longer includes the south of the county.
