Deal reached on fish quotas



A deal has been reached on fish quotas in Brussels.

It means increases of 20% in monkfish, 21% for horse mackerel and a 26% increase in haddock for the ports of Greencastle and Killybegs.

The Killybegs Fishermen’s Organisation has welcomed the deal reached but warns that Brexit remains a concern for the sector.
