First Action Group meeting hears Dept still in denial about fodder crisis



There is still no recognition by the Department of Agriculture that farmers in the North West are in a fodder crisis.

That’s according to the Irish Creamery and Milk Suppliers Association were one of the farming organisations that attended today’s meeting of the new Fodder Action group set up by Minister Creed last week.

The meeting took place in the Sligo Park Hotel.

Lorcan McCabe, the Farm Business Committee Chairperson with the ICMSA is extremely frustrated following the meeting where he says nothing was achieved:
