British MP’s warn that hard border is unavoidable



British MPs are warning they don’t see how it’s possible to avoid a hard border between North and South after Brexit.

A Commons committee’s dismissing the UK Government’s proposed solutions to the problem as ‘untested and speculative’.

Leo Varadkar and the European Council President Donald Tusk will discuss the issue in Dublin later ahead of a crucial EU Summit later this month.
