Donegal business woman Deirdre McGlone was among the 10 finalists last night in the IMAGE Businesswoman of the Year Awards 2017.
The awards ceremony, attended by about 800 people, took place last night in The Clayton Hotel Dublin.
Now in its 11th year, the awards champion businesswomen’s contributionn to Ireland’s economy.
Deirdre McGlone, of Harvey’s Point Hotel in Donegal, was nominated as a finalist in the Entrepreneur of the Year category.

The overall winners were Iseult Ward and Aoibheann O Brien, cofounders and CEOs of FoodCloud.
The company was founded in 2013 and offers a fast and efficient way for businesses to donate surplus food to charities.
