Sligo have moved four points clear at the top of Division 2C of the All-Ireland League.
A 40-22 bonus point victory over Tullamore at Hamilton Park in Strandhill this afternoon means that the Ross Mannion-coached side have extended their unbeaten start to the season to seven games ahead of a week’s break for the league.
In-form scrum-half Ryan Feehily raced over for two tries, and there were also tries for James Wilson, Shane McGuinness, Mark Rooney and Kuba Wojtkowicz as Sligo crossed the whitewash on six occasions.
Jack Keegan kicked the remainder of the points and the home side led by 32 points at one stage.
Sligo’s next outing is away to Seapoint on Saturday, November25.
Seapoint lost by 29-8 away to Bective Rangers on Friday.
