Ulster semi-final fixtures confirmed



Kilcar’s Ulster club semi-final will take place in Omagh on Saturday week.

The Donegal champions will face reigning holders Slaughtneil of Derry at 6.30pm in Healy Park, having knocked out Monaghan’s Scotstown last weekend.

Fermanagh’s Derrygonnelly will face Cavan Gaels in the second semi-final the following day in Clones.

Milford’s intermediate semi-final has been fixed for Sunday week in Armagh’s Athletic Grounds at 2.30pm.

At the same time, Naomh Colmcille’s junior semi-final takes place in Derry’s Celtic Park.

Milford face Rostrevor from Down, while the Newtowncunningham side play Tattyreagh from Tyrone.

Sligo’s U16 footballers were in action in round two of the Fr Manning Cup last night.

They lost out by three points away to Kildare, 0-15 to 1-9.

Sligo have won one and lost one in the competition now, and face Westmeath in their final group game on Sunday at 3.30pm in Scarden.
