A carnival parade is taking place in Ballyshannon today.
The theme for the event is ‘Away With The Fairies’ which is an homage to the popular William Allinghams poem, ‘The Fairies’
Today is the 2nd last day of the Donegal Bay and Blue Stacks Festival with other events on such as a play by The Donegal Drama Circle called ‘American Buffalo’
Motorists are advised that a number of roads will be closed today from 6.45pm to 9.30pm.
The roads are Tirconnaill, Market and Castle Street along with Allingham Road, Mainstreet, College Street and The Gables.
Diversions will be place later this evening.
