Ulster Bank says ATMs will remain after branch closures



Ulster Bank says the ATMs in Ballymote in county Sligo and in Ardara in county Donegal will be retained.

The two bank branches are set to close as planned on the 8th of September.

The bank announced in March its plans to close a number of branches with the accounts and services transferreing to alternative locations – Sligo town and Donegal town in this case.

Raphoe in north Donegal already closed in June.

A spokesperson for Ulster Bank told Ocean FM News on Friday that the ATMs will be retained.

However, local Fine Gael Councillor in Ballymote Dara Mulvey is seeking a commitment that this will be on a longterm basis:
