Sligo University Hospital is the only hospital in the region to not have any patients waiting on trolleys in A&E today



Sligo University Hospital is the only hospital in the region to not have any patients waiting for a bed in their accident and emergency department today.

In total, there are seventeen people waiting on trolleys in facilities serving the region.

In Letterkenny University Hospital, there are two people waiting on trolleys.

While in University College Hospital Galway, there are fifteen patients waiting for a bed.

The busiest accident and emergency department in the country today, is University Hospital Limerick where 49 people are waiting on trolleys. Nationally, 328 people are on trolleys in hospitals today.
