For those of a more adventurous mind, the brochure features the best of what Sligo has to offer in terms of outdoor activities.

These include surfing on the Sligo coast, supping and even foraging on the seashore or inland.

Tours to the megalithic tombs of the Ox Mountains are also included as is paddling on Lough Talt in west Sligo.

For those who rather to stay indoors, there are a number of workshops including wood turning, fermenting and jam making.

Anthony Gray, from the Sligo Food Trail explains how the new brochure is advertising all of what is best about Sligo’s culinary potential.
