Four confirmed to contest for the co-opted seat of the late Sean McEniff

The names of the four candidates who will contest for the co-opted seat on Donegal County Council have been confirmed.

The seat was vacated following the death of the late Councillor Sean McEniff who passed away in April.

The four candidates are former Ballyshannon Town Councillor Billy Grimes, Roger Meehan from Dunkineely, Micheál Naughton who lives in Laghey and Elizabeth McIntyre, a daughter of the late Councillor McEniff.

A date is yet to be set for the convention but Ocean FM News understands it will take place in mid to late July.
