Hedge cutting bill to be discussed at Dáil



The heritage bill which would extend the hedge-cutting and burning seasons is up for discussion in the Dáil again tomorrow (Wednesday).

As part of this bill farmers would be able to cut hedges until the end of August and burn in March.

The bill went to the Seanad where Fianna Fail proposed amendments to restrict the cutting to roadside only.
