A Donegal TD is calling on the Minister for Social Protection to review current staffing in community schemes.
Pat the Cope Gallagher says the current system places restrictions on programmes such as the Community Employment, Tús and Rural Social Schemes.
Speaking to Ocean FM News, Deputy Gallagher says he asked Minister Leo Varadkar to have a report prepared on the issue.
But the Minister has yet to respond.
Deputy Gallagher says it is essential that adjustments are made to facilitate seasonal and part-time workers.
