Gorse fires continue to affect the region this morning.
Fire Services from Sligo, Tubbercurry and Ballina are attending a fire in Easkey this morning where a ‘controlled burn’ is underway to stop the spread of the fire.
A fire in the Geevagh/Ballyfarnon area was attended by Sligo, Leitrim, Roscommon and Longford fire services and was contained at 11pm last night by Sligo Fire Personnel.
Fire Services are receiving a large amount of calls and is requesting people to only provide specific information in relation to the fires.
