Gardai in Swinford are appealing for the public’s help following a fire in a shed at Doocastle, near the Sligo/Mayo border, over the weekend which destroyed machinery.
The incident occurred at Derrikinlough, Doocastle, between 10:30pm and 11:15pom on Saturday night.
A number of lorries, a digger and a trailer were severely damaged in the fire which was put out by crews from Tubbercurry, Ballymote and Charlestown.
Anyone with information or who saw anything suspicious is asked to contact the gardai in Swinford or any garda station.
