Donegal TD and Minister Joe McHugh says he thinks opinion polls are good for politics and he’s not worried about the latest poll.
The results of the Irish Times poll today have made their way to Lebanon, where the Fine Gael TD and Minister for the Diaspora is visiting members of the Irish Defence Forces.
It shows the chance of a snap election has lessened with a narrowing of the gap between Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil with Enda Kenny’s party on 28 per cent and Micheál Martin’s slightly ahead on 29.
