The HSE are running a week of events to raise awareness for eating disorders in Sligo this week.
It begins on Monday afternoon and St. Angela’s college, Sligo University Hospital and Markievicz House will host events centred around encouraging people and families to get better informed on the subject.
There are almost 1,000 new eating disorder cases diagnosed every year and the HSE are encouraging those who might be effected to seek the help that they need.
