New Regional Water Supply Scheme for North Leitrim



The sod has been turned this morning on a new Regional Water Supply Scheme for North Leitrim.

It marks the official start of works on the Moneyduff Water Treatment Plant located between Manorhamilton and Dromahair.

It part of an €8.4 million investment by Irish Water in North Leitrim.

The sod-turning ceremony began in the Bee Park Community Centre in Manorhamilton before moving to the Moneyduff plant.

Among those present was Housing and Urban Renewal Minister Damien English.
