Donegal’s newest army officer posted in Dundalk



A new army officer from Donegal is to be posted in Dundalk.

Conor O’Brien from Ballybofey was among 29 irish cadets sworn in at a commissioning ceremony in Kildare yesterday.

They took an oath of allegiance to be “faithful to Ireland and loyal to the Constitution”.

He will now be posted to the 27th infantry battalion in Dundalk where he’ll start on the 6th of February.
