ICSA want farmers rewarded for reducing suckler cow numbers



The Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers Association is to call on the Minister for Agriculture to introduce a new grant to reward farmers for reducing their suckler cow numbers.

The ICSA Suckler Chairman Dermot Kelleher is calling for the grant to be awarded to those who aim to get out of suckler farming completely.

Donegal ICSA Chairman Malcolm Thompson outlines the aim of the move and how they hope to achieve it.
