New fears for jobs and Expressway bus routes in the North West



There are new fears the North West will be particularly hit by cuts to Expressway routes, job losses and lower pay for new recruits under a plan by Bus Eireann to save €7 million.

The plan, drawn up by consultants Grant Thornton, has reportedly been agreed by the board of Bus Eireann.

Last month, there were meetings in Donegal Town and Tubbercurry, Co Sligo, attended by representatives of the National Bus and Rail Union to discuss the issue.
