Harps agree new kit deal with Joma

Finn Harps have announced that Joma sport will be the club’s new kit sponsor for the next three years. Joma, who are also the kit suppliers to Sligo Rovers, will become the technical and sportswear kit supplier to all levels of Finn Harps FC including senior, underage and academy teams.

Finn Harps commercial officer Aidan Campbell said: “We are looking forward to our new partnership with Joma, who have over 50 years’ experience working with teams across Europe and beyond.

“The Joma range has earned a high reputation for its quality and style, and Finn Harps will benefit from our association with what has become one of the leading brands in world football. We look forward to revealing our new home jersey followed by a public launch of our away and 3rd choice jerseys in January.”

Gary Bright, brand manager for Joma, said: “We are thrilled to add Finn Harps FC to the long and illustrious list of soccer clubs that Joma have supplied both past and present.

“From the very first dealings it was apparent that the people behind Harps have the same work ethic as that of Joma, showing enthusiasm, drive and commitment by passionate people with the sole aim to make their club a success both on and off the field. Ireland is a key part of our planned growth and we see Finn Harps as a major factor within this. We hope to have a long and thriving relationship, and may I take this opportunity in wishing the players, management, staff and supporters of this great club a successful 2017 season.

“I am aware the Finn Harps supporters are renowned for their passion and loyalty and would like to welcome them to the Joma family!”

Earlier this week, Harps announces that the McGettigan group will continue as the club’s main sponsor for the forthcoming 2017 Premier Division campaign.

The Dubai-based group, which is owned by the well-known McGettigan family, have been the principal commercial partner at Finn Park for the past three seasons, a period which has seen Harps reach an FAI Cup semi-final, achieve a famous promotion and then successfully retain premier division status.

McGettigan’s continued to open new venues across the world in 2016 including the acclaimed Warehouse Bar & Kitchen in Letterkenny’s Main Street.

McGettigan’s CEO Dennis McGettigan is looking forward to continuing the partnership: “During the past three years Finn Harps and McGettigan’s have enjoyed a great adventure together and we are all delighted to be on-board once again with the volunteers, players, management and supporters of this wonderful club. The two organisations will continue to work together for the benefit of senior football in Donegal.”

Finn Harps commercial officer Aidan Campbell welcomed the agreement: “In recent years McGettigan’s have been great friends of Finn Harps, so everyone is looking forward to continuing what has been a very successful partnership. McGettigan’s have been instrumental in our success in recent years, helping the club in many ways. This will be the fourth year in a row that the McGettigan’s logo will appear on our first team shirts, so the company name has become synonymous with Finn Harps.”
