The Minister for Housing Simon Coveney will be in Sligo later to officially launch the East Sligo regeneration plan.
The plan which is being head led by Sligo County Council looks at the Social, physical and economic regeneration of the area.
It will try and increase education for local communities with the aim of creating more employment.
