Shelbourne ladies can wrap up a league and cup double this evening.
The cup holders face UCD Waves tonight knowing that avoiding defeat will secure the title for the shortened 2016 season before the Women’s National League switches from winter to summer soccer.
UCD can take the title race to the final day this Sunday with a win tonight at the Morton Stadium.
The Students, who have Leitrim’s Dearbhaile Beirne among their squad, trail Shels by five points with two games left.
Peamount United also have an outside chance to winning the title, but must beat reigning champions Wexford Youths away in Ferrycarrig Park tonight and Shels at home on Sunday to stay in contention.
Donegal’s Amber Barrett, who is joint top-scorer in the league, will feature for Peamount, while Sligo’s Emma Hansberry should be part of the Wexford team.
Both games kick-off at 7.30pm.
