Talk on concussion this evening as part of IT Sligo Science Festival



Sligo Science Festival is in full swing at IT Sligo, where it runs until Sunday next.

It includes an array of lectures, demonstrations, workshops and discussions on everything from obesity to archaeology, forensic science to bio-security.

An it’s all part of making science a fun subject.

This evening, at 7pm, there will be a talk on what is a very serious matter for many people involved in sports.

Kevin Moran, consultant surgeon at Letterkenny University Hospital and Donegal GAA team doctor, will give a talk at 7pm in the Aurivo Auditorium at the IT on concussion in sport.
