A new Information Guide for Older People has been launched by the Donegal Age Friendly Alliance.
It’s to address the information needs of older people in the county, especially the most vulnerable older people in the community.
It provides information on a number of issues including entitlements, health, housing and home service supports.
The need for this type of a guide was identified in the Donegal Age Friendly Strategy launched in May last year.
Donegal County Council says it’s now available from post offices and local libraries as well as from the Council website – www.donegalcoco.ie.
