Canon Michael Ryan, retired Parish Priest of St. Bride’s, East Kilbride, Glasgow, Scotland and formerly of Gurteen, Co. Sligo. Brother of Nicholas, Gurteen, Co. Sligo, Dermot, Exeter, England, Daphne Dowd, Boston, U.S.A. and Marie Vaughan, Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath. Removal from Glasgow to St. Patrick’s Church, Gurteen, Co. Sligo, arriving at 6pm on Saturday, June 11th. Mass of the resurrection on Sunday at 2pm with burial afterwards in Gurteen Cemetery. Family flowers only please.


Mary Agnes (known as Myra) Roddy, nee Doherty, Tullyhugh, Lavagh, Ballymote, Co. Sligo and formerly of Kilgarriff, Charlestown. Peacefully at Bailey’s Nursing Home, Tubbercurry. Remains reposing at the Morahan Funeral Home, Tubbercurry, this evening  with removal at 7:30pm arriving at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mulllinabreena, at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday at 12 noon with burial immediately afterward in Achonry Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Patient Comfort Fund, Baileys Nursing Home.


John Joe Kearns, late of Tunnagh, Sooey, Co Sligo. In London. Brother of Padraig, and Mary Conlon, Doongeelagh, Geevagh. Mass in the Church of the Assumption, Sooey, on Saturday June 11th at 11 o clock. Committal of ashes immediately afterwards in St Joseph’s Cemetery, Sooey.


Christine Wamsley, late of 17 Hillview Park, Enniskillen, Remains reposing at her parent’s home in Gransha, Arney from 8pm tonight. Funeral to arrive at St. Michael’s Church Enniskillen on Saturday for Mass of the Ressurection at 11 am. Burial afterwards in Cross Cemetery. House Private to family on Saturday morning please. Mary O’Reilly, nee Owens, Main Street, Collooney, Sligo. Ex-management Rehab Institute. Peacefully at the Mowlam Nursing home, Sligo. Remains will repose at the Church view Funeral Home, Collooney, on Friday from 5pm to 6:30pm with removal afterwards to the Church of the Assumption, Collooney to arrive at 7pm. Requiem mass on Saturday at 11am with burial afterwards in St Attracta’s cemetery, Rhue Tubbercurry.


Martin Devlin, Drimbeigh, Mountcharles, Co. Donegal. Suddenly at his late residence. Removal from the Eternal light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny, this evening going to the residence of his sister Bridie Kelly, Drimbeigh, Mountcharles. Removal from there on Saturday morning going to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles, for 11am funeral mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.
James (Jimmy) Watters (ex Drumcliff Creamery), Munninane, Grange, Co Sligo, peacefully at Sligo University hospital. Remains reposing at the home of his niece Mary Watters, Cloonacrin, Grange, on Friday from 1pm to 8pm. Removal at 8pm to St Patrick’s church Maugherow, arriving at 8.30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Carrigans cemetery. Family flowers only please.


Mai McGowan, nee Sheerin, late of Upper John Street, Sligo and Straide, Co. Mayo. Peacefully at St. John’s Hospital, Sligo. Reposing at the Foley and McGowan funeral home, Markey Yard, Sligo, on Friday evening from 5pm with removal at 6.30pm to Sligo Cathedral, arriving at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11.30am with burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s cemetary, Scarden. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the patient comfort find, St. John’s Hospital, care of Foley and McGowan funeral home.
