Students are relieved the first of the Leaving and Junior Cert exams has come to an end.
Just under 3,500 pupils in Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal are sitting the Leaving Certificate over the next two weeks and just over 3,500 are doing the Junior Certificate.
This morning they sat English Paper 1 at the ordinary and higher levels.
