Canon Michael Ryan, retired Parish Priest of St. Bride’s, East Kilbride, Glasgow, Scotland and formerly of Gurteen, Co. Sligo. Brother of Nicholas, Gurteen, Co. Sligo, Dermot, Exeter, England, Daphne Dowd, Boston, U.S.A. and Marie Vaughan, Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath. Removal from Glasgow to St. Patrick’s Church, Gurteen, Co. Sligo, arriving at 6pm on Saturday 11th June. Mass of the resurrection on Sunday at 2pm with burial afterwards in Gurteen Cemetery. Family flowers only please.

 

 

Mary Agnes (known as Myra) Roddy, nee Doherty, Tullyhugh, Lavagh, Ballymote, Co. Sligo and formerly of Kilgarriff, Charlestown. Peacefully at Bailey’s Nursing Home, Tubbercurry. Remains reposing at the Morahan Funeral Home, Tubbercurry, on Thursday evening from 5:30pm. with removal at 7:30pm  arriving at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mulllinabreena, at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday at 12 noon with burial immediately afterward in Achonry Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Patient Comfort Fund, Baileys Nursing Home.

 

 

 

Catherine Kitty Stenson, Cloonagh, Charlestown, Co. Sligo. Peacefully at St. Attracta’s Nursing Home Charlestown. Reposing at St. Therese’s Funeral Home, Curry Village this  evening until 7pm. She will be waked at her daughter Andrea’s home in Carrowilkeen (PRON: carrow-will-keen) tonight. Funeral mass on Thursday at 12 noon at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Curry with burial afterwards in Bunnacrannagh cemetery.

 

 

Vera Quinn, Clough, Ballintrillick, Co. Sligo. Suddenly at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at Mc Gloin’s Funeral Home, Chapel Road, Cliffoney this evening from 6pm, with removal to St. Brigid’s Church, Ballintrillick to arrive at 8pm.  Funeral Mass in St. Brigid’s Church, on Thursday at 11am. Burial afterwards in Keelogues Cemetery, Ballintrillick. House Private Please.
