Leitrim to face Waterford in the Qualifiers

Leitrim will host Waterford in the first round of the All-Ireland football Qualifiers.

The game has been set for Sunday week, June 19, at 2pm in Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada in Carrick-on-Shannon.

The sides last met in April in the league in Dungarvan, with the home side winning by a point on that occasion.

Meanwhile, the loser of Sunday’s Ulster quarter-final between Donegal and Fermanagh faces a trip to Wexford in the Qualifiers on the last weekend in June.

Laois’s Maurice Deegan has been confirmed as the referee of this Sunday’s game, while Cavan’s Joe McQuillan will take charge of the Connacht semi-final between Sligo and Roscommon on the same day in Dr Hyde Park.

In hurling news, Ballinamore will host this weekend’s Christy Ring/Nicky Rackard promotion-relegation play-off between Mayo and Derry. The game will take place at 3pm on Saturday.
