Small companies urged to grow digital presence



Small Irish companies are being encouraged to contact their Local Enterprise Office to help them build or improve their online presence.

In the Northwest there are three Local Enterprise Offices situated in Sligo Town, Carrick On-Shannon and Letterkenny.

Companies that have less than ten employees can avail of training and apply for a grant of up to two and a half thousand euro to build a website.

It’s estimated that about ninety per cent of Irish consumers research products online before making a purchase and that they spend almost fourteen thousand euro a minute online.
