Met Eireann’s issued an Orange rainfall alert for tomorrow.
It’s warning of intense thunderstorms on Bank Holiday Monday – especially in the northwest, midlands and midlands
Motorists are being warned of treacherous road conditions in areas affected by the storms.
There’s also a risk of floods but Met Éireann forecaster John Eagleton says any flooding will be quite limited:
