Draw is made for Celtic Challenge knockout stages

Table-toppers Sligo will clash with Down in preliminary round of the U17 Celtic Challenge Hogan Cup on Saturday.

The Yeats men finished top of Group F, with four wins from their five games, while Down finished second to Antrim in Group G.

The game will take place in Abbottstown in Dublin at 11am on Saturday, ahead of the county senior hurlers’ Lory Meagher Cup final against Louth in Croke Park at 1.30pm.

Antrim, Offaly, South Kilkenny, Cork City, North Galway and Dublin Pearse are the other sides in the Corn Michael Hogan.

Leitrim and Donegal have been placed in the Corn Jerome O’Leary and will face each other in the preliminary round tie on Saturday.

That game will take place in Markievicz Park at 2.30pm.
